Key Takeaways for Ada Build Live

Ada Build Live is a prospective applicant program for the most underrepresented communities in tech. Its goal is to prepare folks for Ada’s competitive admissions process. This program ran quarterly, with different OKR’s each series.

I utilized Salesforce data and a mixture of qualitative and quantitative weekly participant feedback to create a series one-pager with key program takeaways. This was used to inform strategic decisions for the next series.

The previous card design was crowded, and didn't engage with families. Because of this, there was very low community awareness of Common Threads' work.

I wrote and re-designed the recipes cards into half-sheet fliers, allowing for space to explain why we were cooking certain dishes, and also give families ways to connect with their students and the organization. I created front/back print copies in English and Spanish, as well as a digital file for online use (seen to the left).

These continue to be implemented in the 2018-2019 school year.
